Terms & Conditions

1. INTRODUCTION

1.1.   Cosmic Catch & Claim (24 Jan – 12 Feb 2025) (the “Promotion”) is exclusive to members of CapitaStar Rewards (referred to as “Eligible Shopper”). Shoppers can download the CapitaStar mobile application and sign up within the App as a member to qualify and participate in this Promotion. CapitaStar Rewards (Refer to CapitaStar Rewards Programme) is only awarded upon satisfying the following qualifying actions/promotion mechanics (“Qualifying Actions”).

1.2.   The Promotion is organised by CapitaStar Pte. Ltd. (“Organiser”) and shall be governed by these terms and conditions (“T&Cs”).

1.3.    The promotion period (“Promotion Period”) is from 24 January to 12 February 2025, both dates inclusive.

2.       COSMIC CATCH & CLAIM (24 JAN – 12 FEB 2025)

2.1.   Eligible Shoppers will be given two (2) lives to play the Game daily.

2.2.   Eligible Shoppers will have to successfully grab a Reward Icon item (STAR – SHINING STAR, PLANET – PROSPERITY PLANET or MOON – MIGHTY MOON icon) from the Game to receive one fixed reward (“Game Reward”) from the respective category. The Game Rewards are issued on a randomised basis, while stocks last.

2.2.1. For avoidance of doubt, Game Rewards are issued on a random basis for each successful grab of a Reward Icon Item during the Promotion Period, while stocks last. Eligible Shoppers can receive more than one Game Reward during the Promotion Period and may also receive the same Game Reward.

2.2.2. Game Rewards will only be issued after successfully viewing the ad and tapping on the button to claim your reward. Skipping this step will void the reward that you were supposed to get.  

2.3.   Eligible Shoppers can earn more lives upon satisfying the following Qualifying Actions below, while stocks last. The qualifying Promotion mechanics are as follows:

2.3.1. Additional Terms governing qualification of Action 1 of Qualifying Actions to earn more lives
(Buy / Gift minimum S$50 eCapitaVoucher in a single transaction)

2.3.1.1.     Eligible Shoppers must purchase a transactional value of minimum S$50 or more eCapitaVoucher in a single transaction on the CapitaStar app to qualify to earn more lives, while stocks last.

2.3.1.3.     The qualifying period for Action 1 is from 24 January to 12 February 2025 (both dates inclusive). Each Eligible Shopper is entitled to one (1) redemption per day based on Action 1 during the Promotion Period.

2.3.1.4.     eCapitaVoucher will not be credited to the account of the Eligible Shopper if the value of eCapitaVoucher in the CapitaStar wallet of the Eligible Shopper exceeds Singapore Dollars One Thousand (S$1,000) in value after crediting the eCapitaVoucher to the existing remaining balance. 

2.3.2. Additional Terms governing qualification of Action 2 of Qualifying Actions to earn more lives
(Spend minimum S$50 with eCapitaVoucher in a single transaction)

2.3.2.1      Eligible Shoppers must use transactional value of minimum S$50 or more eCapitaVoucher in a single transaction on the same day (“Eligible Transaction/ Receipt”) to satisfy the Qualifying Spend and qualify to earn more lives, while stocks last. Use of eCapitaVoucher with transactional value of less than S$50 in the same purchase shall not be accepted for the purposes of this Digital Rewards Promotion.

2.3.2.2      The Qualifying Period for Action 2 is from 24 January to 12 February 2025 (both dates inclusive). Each Eligible Shopper is entitled to one (1) redemption per day based on Action 2 during the Promotion Period. 

2.3.2.3      Only the amount paid with eCapitaVoucher that is accepted by the participating store(s) in the participating properties will be accepted for redemption under this Promotion. The participating properties can be found here.

3.     GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS

3.1.   By participating in this Promotion, the Eligible Shopper (CapitaStar members):

3.1.1.    Acknowledges and consents to the processing, collection, use and disclosure of his/ her Personal Data by the Organiser, its affiliates, subsidiaries and related corporations including its holding company, CapitaLand Investment Limited (collectively, “CapitaLand Group”), and authorised agents, business partners and service providers in compliance with applicable data protection laws, regulations and guidelines to facilitate the administration of the Promotion including compliance with the Promotion Terms and Condition and that he/ she has read and agreed with the CapitaLand Group’s and Data Protection Policy available at https://www.capitaland.com/international/en/legal-notices/privacy-policy.html  and  may be amended, replaced, substituted from time to time.

3.1.2.    Agrees that the Organiser, its affiliates, subsidiaries, agents, business partners and respective officers and employees shall not be liable for any actions, claims, demands, injuries, proceedings, liability, losses, damages, costs and expenses of any nature sustained by the member directly or indirectly by reason of or in connection with this Promotion. The member shall indemnify and keep the Organiser and its officers, servants, agents and employees ("the Indemnified Parties") fully indemnified against any and all loss, damage, demand, liability, claims, expenses and costs (including legal costs on a full indemnity basis) suffered and/or incurred by any of the Indemnified Parties as a result of the breach of any of the terms and conditions herein by the member. Members are deemed to have read, understood and accepted all the T&Cs set out herein, as well as any other requirements set out in any related promotional material, and all amendments, additions, replacements and modifications there to as may be made from time to time.

3.2.   Acceptance of any Reward shall constitute consent on the part of the Eligible Shopper to allow the use of his/ her name, image, voice and/or likeness by the Organiser for editorial, advertising, promotional, marketing and/or other purposes without further compensation except where prohibited by law.

3.3.   All eCapitaVouchers are non-transferable, non-refundable, and non-exchangeable for cash, credit, goods or benefits-in-kind, unless otherwise stated.

3.4.   The Organiser and its partner(s) (if any) in this Promotion reserve the right to change, vary, replace, substitute, amend, withdrawal or cancel this Promotion and/or any of the terms and conditions herein at their sole and absolute discretion and without prior notice or any liability to any party.

3.5.   The Organiser does not make any warranty or representation in relation to any product or services offered in this Promotion or redeemed by vouchers or gift certificates and shall not accept any liability in respect of the same.

3.6.   By participating in this Promotion, the Eligible Shopper represents that he/ she has read and agreed with this Promotion Terms and Conditions.

3.7.   This Promotion Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of Singapore and all participants in this Promotion irrevocably submits to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore Courts to resolve all disputes.

3.8.   The Organiser’s decision on all matters relating to the Promotion shall be final, conclusive and binding. No correspondence will be entertained.
