1. On the home screen of your CapitaStar app, select the ‘Profile’ icon on the top left and tap on your name. You will see your CapitaStar Member ID and select 'Copy'. 

2. Go to your ShopBack app and select the ‘Nearby’ icon on the home screen. Select the 'CapitaStar' icon, followed by 'Link your ShopBack account with your CapitaStar app now'.

3. Select ‘Link CapitaStar Account’. Enter your CapitaStar member ID (press and hold to paste) and select ‘Complete’. Once your accounts have been linked, you will see ‘Successfully Enrolled’ on the page.

Once your CapitaStar account is successfully linked with ShopBack, STAR$® will be awarded instantly when you spend with Shopback Pay at participating properties and stores.

Purchases using ShopBack Pay (minimum spend of S$20 in a single transaction) at participating properties and stores are eligible for instant STAR$® awarding. ShopBack payment methods other than ShopBack Pay are currently not eligible for instant STAR$® awarding.

Ensure that your CapitaStar account is successfully linked with ShopBack before making a purchase with ShopBack Pay at participating properties and stores. 

Earning of STAR$® with ShopBack Pay is only valid for purchases S$20 and above in a single transaction, at participating properties and stores.

For purchases made using ShopBack Pay at participating properties and stores, the minimum spend required to earn STAR$® is S$20 in a single transaction. Transactions below S$20 will not be eligible to earn STAR$®.

STAR$® will be awarded when purchases are made at participating properties and stores with ShopBack Pay, with a minimum spend of S$20 in a single transaction. 

The participating properties are Aperia, Bedok Mall, Bugis+, Bugis Junction, Changi City Point, Clarke Quay, Funan, imall, IMM, Junction 8, Kallang Wave Mall, Lot One Shoppers’ Mall, Plaza Singapura/The Atrium@Orchard, Raffles City Singapore, SengKang Grand Mall, SingPost Centre, Tampines Mall and Westgate. 

The participating retailers are retailers which accept ShopBack Pay, located in the aforementioned participating properties.

There is a 5,000 STAR$® daily cap for CapitaStar members. Raffles Prestige Members can earn up to 30,000 STAR$® in a single day. 

For every transaction registered in your CapitaStar account, you will be entitled to STAR$® rounded down to the nearest dollar. For every S$1 captured, you will earn 5 STAR$® (1 STAR$® for selected Education, Hobbies & Leisure and Sports trade categories, Foodcourt, Medical & Health Services (only TCM, Chiropractic and Medical Aesthetics), Hypermarket, Supermarket and Specialty Mart. To ensure instant awarding of STAR$®, do ensure that your CapitaStar account is successfully linked with ShopBack. You may verify the successful linkage through your ShopBack App.

1. Payment via a linked Mastercard and all DBS/POSB payment modes: Min. S$20 in a single transaction

2. Payment via eCapitaVoucher: Min. S$10 in a single transaction

3. Payment at Jewel Changi Airport: Min. S$10 in a single transaction (kindly present your Changi Rewards app and scan the Changi Rewards e-Card to earn your STAR$®)

For item 1, members can earn STAR$® when paying with all DBS/POSB payment modes (including DBS/POSB American Express, Visa cards and/or DBS PayLah!) when they have linked their CapitaStar account on the DBS PayLah! app. Please note that PayNow transactions via DBS PayLah! is not eligible to earn STAR$®. 

For item 3, members can earn STAR$® for purchases made at Jewel Changi Airport if they have linked their CapitaStar and Changi Rewards accounts together and scanned their Changi Rewards e-Card. Click here to find out more.

STAR$® issued will be stored in your membership account with indicated expiry date. You can check your STAR$® balance via the CapitaStar Mobile App. Transferring of STAR$® between members is not allowed.

Earning STAR$® when transacting with a Retailer Gift Card and/or Vouchers. 

Kindly note that when using a retailer gift card/voucher (including CDC Voucher/SG60 Vouchers), STAR$® will be  awarded based on the outstanding nett purchase value* after deduction of gift card/voucher redemptions at all participating stores. 

*Outstanding nett purchase value must be transacted with a linked payment method (Mastercard, DBS/POSB payment modes, ShopBack Pay or eCapitaVoucher) subject to each payment method's STAR$® awarding qualifier. 

Note: All purchases (including purchases with eCapitaVoucher as payment mode) made in ION Orchard, PARAGON and The Clementi Mall are not eligible to earn STAR$®
