Celebrate CapitaStar’s Claw-Some Birthday

1. INTRODUCTION

1.1. 1.1. Celebrate CapitaStar’s Claw-Some Birthday (the “Promotion”) is exclusive to members of CapitaStar Rewards (referred to as “Eligible Shopper”). Shoppers can download the CapitaStar mobile application and sign up within the App as a member to qualify and participate in this Promotion. CapitaStar Rewards (Refer to CapitaStar Rewards Programme) is only awarded upon satisfying the following qualifying actions/promotion mechanics (“Qualifying Actions”).

1.2. The Promotion is organised by CapitaLand Retail Management Pte Ltd (“Organiser”) and shall be governed by these terms and conditions (“T&Cs”).

1.3. The promotion period (“Promotion Period”) is from 01 October to 31 October 2024, both dates inclusive.

2. Cosmic Catch & Claim 

2.1. Eligible Shoppers will be given two (2) lives to play the Game daily.

2.2. Eligible Shoppers will have to successfully grab a Reward Icon item (STAR – STARGAZER, PLANET – GLOBAL EXPLORER or MOON – MOONWALKER icon) from the Game to receive one fixed reward (“Game Reward”) from the respective category. The Game Rewards are issued on a randomised basis, while stocks last.

2.2.1. For avoidance of doubt, Game Rewards are issued on a random basis for each successful grab of a Reward Icon Item during the Promotion Period, while stocks last. Eligible Shoppers can receive more than one Game Reward during the Promotion Period and may also receive the same Game Reward.

2.2.2. Game Rewards will only be issued after successfully viewing the ad and tapping on the button to claim your reward. Skipping this step will void the reward that you were supposed to get.

2.2.3. As the Game Rewards also include eCapitaVoucher(s), Game Rewards will not be credited to the account of the Eligible Shopper if the value of eCapitaVoucher in the CapitaStar wallet of the Eligible Shopper exceeds Singapore Dollars One Thousand (S$1,000) in value after crediting the Game Rewards to the existing remaining balance.  

2.3. Eligible Shoppers can earn more lives upon satisfying the following Qualifying Actions below, while stocks last. The qualifying Promotion mechanics are as follows:

2.3.1. Additional Terms governing qualification of Action 1 of Qualifying Actions to earn more lives 
(Buy / Gift minimum S$50 eCapitaVoucher via PayNow in a single transaction)

2.3.1.1. Eligible Shoppers must purchase a minimum of S$50 worth of eCapitaVoucher via PayNow in a single transaction on the CapitaStar app to qualify to earn more lives, while stocks last.

2.3.1.3. The qualifying period for Action 1 is from 01 October to 31 October 2024 (both dates inclusive). Each Eligible Shopper is entitled to one (1) redemption per day based on Action 1 during the Promotion Period.

2.3.1.4. eCapitaVoucher will not be credited to the account of the Eligible Shopper if the value of eCapitaVoucher in the CapitaStar wallet of the Eligible Shopper exceeds Singapore Dollars One Thousand (S$1,000) in value after crediting the eCapitaVoucher to the existing remaining balance.  

2.3.2. Additional Terms governing qualification of Action 2 of Qualifying Actions to earn more lives 
(Spend minimum S$50 with eCapitaVoucher in a single transaction)

2.3.2.1 Eligible Shoppers must use transactional value of minimum S$50 or more eCapitaVoucher in a single transaction on the same day (“Eligible Transaction/ Receipt”) to satisfy the Qualifying Spend and qualify to earn more lives, while stocks last. Use of eCapitaVoucher with transactional value of less than S$50 in the same purchase shall not be accepted for the purposes of this Digital Rewards Promotion.

2.3.2.2 The Qualifying Period for Action 2 is from 01 October to 31 October 2024 (both dates inclusive). Each Eligible Shopper is entitled to one (1) redemption per day based on Action 2 during the Promotion Period.  

2.3.2.3 Only the amount paid with eCapitaVoucher that is accepted by the participating store(s) in the participating properties will be accepted for redemption under this Promotion. The participating properties can be found here.

2.3.3. Additional Terms governing qualification of Action 3 of Qualifying Actions to earn more lives 
(Link CapitaStar account on DBS PayLah! and make a first purchase of S$20 with any DBS Paymodes)

2.3.3.1. To satisfy the qualification requirements for Action 3, an Eligible Shopper must have: 

2.3.3.1.1. Successfully linked their CapitaStar and DBS PayLah! account during the Promotion Period. For avoidance of doubt, this Qualifying Action is only eligible for new CapitaStar to DBS PayLah! linkages throughout the membership lifetime period during the Promotion Period only; and

2.3.3.1.2. Made a first successful transaction of minimum Singapore Dollars Twenty (S$20) at any of the participating CapitaLand malls with either DBS PayLah! (via NETS QR) and/or DBS/POSB Credit or Debit cards excluding, without limitation UPI, NETSPay and NETS FlashPay. 

2.3.3.2. The Promotion Period for Action 3 is from 01 October to 31 October 2024 (both dates inclusive). Each Eligible Shopper is entitled to one (1) redemption during the entire Promotion Period. 

2.3.4. Additional Terms governing qualification of Action 4 of Qualifying Actions to earn more lives 
(Link CapitaStar account on ShopBack and make a first purchase of S$20 with ShopBack Pay)

2.3.4.1. To satisfy the qualification requirements for Action 4, an Eligible Shopper must have: 

2.3.4.1.1. Successfully linked their CapitaStar and ShopBack account during the Promotion Period. For avoidance of doubt, this Qualifying Action is only eligible for new CapitaStar to ShopBack linkages during the Promotion Period only; and

2.3.4.1.2. Made a first successful transaction of minimum Singapore Dollars Twenty (S$20) at any of the participating CapitaLand malls with ShopBack Pay. 

2.3.4.2. The Promotion Period for Action 4 is from 01 October to 31 October 2024 (both dates inclusive). Each Eligible Shopper is entitled to one (1) redemption during the entire Promotion Period

3. Spend with eCapitaVoucher and stand to win 500,000 STAR$®

3.1. Eligible Shoppers must use transactional value of minimum S$20 or more eCapitaVoucher in a single transaction on the same day (“Eligible Transaction/ Receipt”) to satisfy the Qualifying Spend and qualify for Game Token(s), while stocks last. Use of eCapitaVoucher with transactional value of less than S$20 in the same purchase shall not be accepted for the purposes of this Digital Rewards Promotion. Collect three (3) Game Tokens to exchange for a Lucky Draw chance to win 500,000 STAR$®.

3.1.1. For avoidance of doubt, Game Token(s) have no monetary reward value and are issued per Qualifying Action of spending a minimum S$20 or more eCapitaVoucher in a single transaction completed per day during the Promotion Period.

3.1.2. Eligible Shoppers can only earn one (1) Game Token per day and use the accrued Game Token(s) to exchange for a Lucky Draw chance to win 500,000 STAR$® during the Promotion Period. A total of three (3) Game Tokens are required for every exchange of one (1) Lucky Draw chance to win 500,000 STAR$®. After collecting three (3) Game Tokens, tap on “Exchange Now” to be issued one (1) Lucky Draw chance. If you do not tap on “Exchange Now”, the Lucky Draw chance will not be issued and Game Token(s) not exchanged after the Promotion Period shall automatically lapse, become void and of no further use.

3.1.3. The quantity of Game Token(s) required to exchange for any Game Reward shall be determined by the Organizer in its sole discretion and may be subject to change from time to time without notice.

3.1.4. Any Game Token(s) obtained and/or accumulated by an Eligible Shopper shall be exchangeable to a Lucky Draw chance to win 500,000 STAR$® only during the Promotion Period and any Game Token(s) not exchanged after the Promotion Period shall automatically lapse, become void and of no further use. 

3.2. The promotion period (“Promotion Period”) is from 01 October to 31 October 2024, both dates inclusive. Each Eligible Shopper is entitled to one (1) Game Token per day per Qualifying Action of spending a minimum S$20 or more eCapitaVoucher in a single transaction completed during the Promotion Period. 

3.3. Only the amount paid with eCapitaVoucher that is accepted by the participating store(s) in the participating properties will be accepted for redemption under this Promotion. The participating properties can be found here.

3.4. One (1) Lucky Draw Chance would be given for each successful exchange of every three (3) Game Tokens between 01 October to 31 October 2024 (both dates inclusive). 

3.5. The Lucky Draw will be conducted by 30 November 2024 and there will be 5 winners drawn for the Lucky Draw, where each winner is eligible to win 500,000 STAR$® (S$500 worth of eCapitaVoucher) each. 

3.6. By participating in this Promotion, winners of this lucky draw will be contacted via call and/or email that is registered to their CapitaStar account.

3.7. The Lucky Draw chance and prizes issued are non-transferrable nor exchangeable.

3.8. The management of CapitaStar reserves the final decision on the results of the lucky draw.

4. GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS

4.1. The eCapitaVoucher Reward (if any) cannot be exchanged for different denomination and are subject to the relevant terms and conditions governing the use of the eCapitaVouchers. Please refer to eCapitaVouchers terms and conditions.

4.2. By participating in this Promotion, the Eligible Shopper (CapitaStar members):

4.2.1. Acknowledges and consents to the processing, collection, use and disclosure of his/ her Personal Data by the Organiser, its affiliates, subsidiaries and related corporations including its holding company, CapitaLand Investment Limited (collectively, “CapitaLand Group”), and authorised agents, business partners and service providers in compliance with applicable data protection laws, regulations and guidelines to facilitate the administration of the Promotion including compliance with the Promotion Terms and Condition and that he/ she has read and agreed with the CapitaLand Group’s and Data Protection Policy available at https://www.capitaland.com/international/en/legal-notices/privacy-policy.html  and  may be amended, replaced, substituted from time to time.

4.2.2. Agrees that the Organiser, its affiliates, subsidiaries, agents, business partners and respective officers and employees shall not be liable for any actions, claims, demands, injuries, proceedings, liability, losses, damages, costs and expenses of any nature sustained by the member directly or indirectly by reason of or in connection with this Promotion. The member shall indemnify and keep the Organiser and its officers, servants, agents and employees ("the Indemnified Parties") fully indemnified against any and all loss, damage, demand, liability, claims, expenses and costs (including legal costs on a full indemnity basis) suffered and/or incurred by any of the Indemnified Parties as a result of the breach of any of the terms and conditions herein by the member. Members are deemed to have read, understood and accepted all the T&Cs set out herein, as well as any other requirements set out in any related promotional material, and all amendments, additions, replacements and modifications there to as may be made from time to time.

4.3. Acceptance of any Reward shall constitute consent on the part of the Eligible Shopper to allow the use of his/ her name, image, voice and/or likeness by the Organiser for editorial, advertising, promotional, marketing and/or other purposes without further compensation except where prohibited by law.

4.4. All eCapitaVoucher Rewards are non-transferable, non-refundable, and non-exchangeable for cash, credit, goods or benefits-in-kind, unless otherwise stated.

4.5. The eCapitaVoucher Reward shall be awarded on the presumption that the submitted tax invoice(s), receipt(s) and/ or charge slip(s) are original copies and valid. The Organiser may reject any tax invoice, receipt and/ or charge slip as invalid at its sole and absolute discretion, and such determination shall be final and conclusive. In the event any tax invoice, receipt and/ or charge slip is rejected by the Organiser as invalid, the Organiser shall reserve the right to void the eCV Reward and/or eVoucher awarded to the Eligible Shopper and recover the monetary value of the eCV Reward.

4.6. The Organiser and its partner(s) (if any) in this Promotion reserve the right to change, vary, replace, substitute, amend, withdrawal or cancel this Promotion and/or any of the terms and conditions herein at their sole and absolute discretion and without prior notice or any liability to any party.

4.7. The Organiser does not make any warranty or representation in relation to any product or services offered in this Promotion or redeemed by vouchers or gift certificates and shall not accept any liability in respect of the same.

4.8. By participating in this Promotion, the Eligible Shopper represents that he/ she has read and agreed with this Promotion Terms and Conditions. 

4.9. This Promotion Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of Singapore and all participants in this Promotion irrevocably submits to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore Courts to resolve all disputes.

4.10. The Organiser’s decision on all matters relating to the Promotion shall be final, conclusive and binding. No correspondence will be entertained.
